Beneficial bugs are “good bugs” that naturally hunt common houseplant pests. They’re a great option for indoor plant parents who want effective pest control without relying on repeated chemical sprays inside the home.

 

Why many people prefer them over chemicals

  • Helps reduce pests without harsh residues in your home

  • Great for prevention and early control (best when caught early)

  • Less risk of pests becoming resistant over time

  • Often gentler on sensitive houseplants than repeated sprays, oils, or soaps

Ordering Options

One-Time or 6-Week Reorder Subscription

You can order beneficial bugs two ways using the form:

  • One-time preorder — perfect if you’re addressing a current issue or want to try beneficials for the first time

  • 6-week reorder subscription — ideal for ongoing prevention and maintaining low pest pressure

👉 Everyone uses this same form, whether ordering once or joining the 6-week reorder list.
 

Prevention Schedule (Recommended)

For most homes, we recommend preventative releases every 6 weeks, especially if you regularly bring new plants into your space.

If you have recurring pest issues, a very warm or dry home, or frequently add new plants, you may choose to release more often.

How Our Preorder Pickup Works

Pickup Only — Bountiful, UT

We place a supplier order every 6 weeks so beneficials arrive fresh for our local plant community.

  • Preorder & pay in full by: Sunday at 8:00 PM

  • We place the supplier order: Monday

  • Pickup: We’ll contact you with the exact arrival date once shipping is confirmed. Pickup begins after 4:00 PM on arrival day

  • Pickup deadline: Must be picked up by 12:00 PM the following day (live product; best used within 24 hours)

  • Missed pickup: Orders are forfeited (no refunds or credits) due to live product viability

Note: Delivery/pickup day depends on the carrier—please watch for our update.

Quick “Which One Do I Need?”

  • Webbing / speckled leaves: Predatory Mites (Special Blend) — spider mites

  • Clusters on new growth / sticky residue: Green Lacewing Larvae — aphids
     

Best Results Tips

  • Use within 24 hours (sooner is best)

  • Apply early morning or evening

  • Avoid oils, soaps, or insecticides right before or after releasing beneficials

  • Inspect and isolate new plants when possible — prevention works best when pests are caught early

We use this same form for both one-time orders and 6-week reorder subscriptions.

All invoices (one-time and subscription) are sent on Thursday before our ordering Monday (via email or text—your choice).

Invoices must be paid by Sunday at 8:00 PM (the night before ordering Monday) to be included in that order cycle.

Want to stay on a simple prevention schedule? Join our 6-week reorder list and we’ll send you a payment link every 6 weeks so you don’t have to remember the dates.

How it works

  • Every 6 weeks, we send subscription invoices on Thursday before our ordering Monday (by email or text link—your choice).

  • Invoices must be paid by Sunday at 8:00 PM (the night before ordering Monday) to be included in that drop (same cutoff as everyone).

  • Pickup begins after 4:00 PM on delivery day (we’ll post the exact pickup date/time as soon as shipping is confirmed).

  • Must be picked up by 12:00 PM the next day (live product; best used within 24 hours).

  • Missed pickup is forfeited (no refunds/credits).

Reorder discount

Subscribers receive 5% off their beneficial bug reorder invoice (applies to items on the recurring invoice only).

  • If an invoice is not paid by the cutoff, it will not be included for that drop (no holds).

  • You can pause or change your items anytime before the cutoff.
